Redwood Cycle House is a family-owned shop on Castro Valley Blvd, opened by Gaelan Mundorff and Crystal Arrizon.

Gaelan has been riding and working in the industry since he was 12. He raced competitively into his early 20s, started working in shops at 16, and spent the following two decades across every corner of the business: service, sales, management, and years as a brand representative for some of the most respected names in cycling, including Pinarello, ENVE, and CeramicSpeed. That range of experience means he understands bikes from the spec sheet to the road, and can build, fit, and dial in at a level that's hard to find in a single shop. He's helped riders get on the right bike for goals big and small, whether that's a first century, a multi-day ride, or just finally enjoying the sport the way they always wanted to.

Crystal grew up in Hayward and has been on bikes her whole life. Her professional background is in education access and equity, and that perspective shapes how Redwood is run. Both she and Gaelan are active in the local cycling community and believe the sport is better when it's genuinely open to riders of all backgrounds and experience levels.
